Important: Your uploaded images are processed temporarily to generate prompts and are not permanently stored on our servers.
Your uploaded images are sent to third-party AI services for visual analysis. We use two AI providers depending on the access method and availability:

What this means for you: Every image you upload is sent as binary data (not a URL) to at least one of these services for analysis. Images are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and are not retained by either provider for model training under their standard API terms. Neither provider can access your image after the API call completes.
If you have privacy concerns about your images being processed by these third parties, please do not upload sensitive or personal images to PromptLens.
We use PostHog, a privacy-focused analytics platform, to record user sessions and analyze behavior on our website. This helps us understand how people use PromptLens, identify UX issues, and improve the product.

PromptLens is hosted in the United States. If you are accessing the service from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
